Fund charges and transaction costsThere are a number of ways in which you may pay to invest in Architas funds; these fall into two categories:1. Charges for the services provided by the manager and other organisations involved in the running and promotion of the fund. 2. Transaction costs inherent in dealing in investments. In general, you would have to pay these costs even if you invested directly in the assets that the funds hold, although an individual investor is likely to have to pay proportionately more than a collective fund.Click on the links below for further details of the charges and transaction costs for each of the Architas fund ranges: Architas Multi-Asset (MA) Active Funds range charges Architas Multi-Asset (MA) Blended Funds range charges Architas Multi-Asset (MA) Passive Funds range charges Architas Multi-Manager (MM) Single Strategy Funds range charges Architas Multi-Manager (MM) Diversified Protector Fund Protector Funds range charges Dilution Adjustment and Dilution Levy The effect of Portfolio Transaction Costs on the value of a fund is known as ‘dilution’. Because dilution can affect the value of funds over the longer term, Architas operates dilution policies to mitigate this effect and thus to effect the fair treatment of all investors. Where material dilution would be caused by shareholder subscriptions or redemptions, a 'dilution policy' aims to transfer the costs away from the fund and onto those shareholder transactions. A dilution policy may take the form either of a levy on some shareholder transactions or an adjustment to the price of the fund. Whilst our 'on-going charges' figure includes that of the underlying funds, the additional costs that these funds may incur (for example performance fees, average spread, broker commission) are not shown here.
